Suppliers are required to provide a certificate of liability insurance (insurance indemnification). As well, service providers will be in contact with the children we support; these children are classified as a vulnerable sector. Due to this classification, every supplier must have a Supplier Application and Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) form on file.
Supplier Code of Conduct
WATV has a long-standing reputation for integrity and trustworthiness with its clients, communities, and service providers. The organization’s reputation depends on the way in which it conducts its business and its commitment to community social responsibility.
The Supplier Code of Business Conduct (SCBC) is a key part of WATV’s commitment to the children and communities we serve. The SCBC clearly articulates WATV’s core values, principles and expectations of our suppliers. It includes standards and policies on customer relations, harassment/discrimination/abuse, health and safety, environment, financial stability, etc.
WATV expects that all suppliers, including their sub-contractors, are in full compliance with the SCBC.
There are situations that will result in termination of WATV’s relationship with the supplier. WATV also considers certain categories of the SCBC as “zero tolerance”. They include, but are not limited to, inadequate insurance coverage, discrimination/harassment/abuse, or evidence of the mis-treatment of children.
