Geofrey Crompton, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board

Geoffrey Crompton is a real estate agent in the Greater Toronto Area and the father of 2 girls and 2 boys with 4 amazing granddaughters.  He emigrated from England in 1969 and for most of the last 40+ years has lived in Toronto. Approximately 6 years ago, Geoffrey moved to Midland and purchased The Library Restaurant. It was at this time that he decided that he could make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children by raising money through the restaurant to help them participate in activities that they wouldn’t normally have access to.   For his efforts, Geoffrey Crompton received the YMCA Peacemakers Medallion in 2014.

Dr. Matyas (Brad) Hervieux, President

Dr. Hervieux completed a Combined Honours BSc Physiology & Psychology, as well as a DHS in Honours English, at the University of Western Ontario.  After completing his Masters Degree in English at the University of Western Ontario, he studied Medicine at McMaster university before completing his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto.  He currently works with urban and rural marginalised populations across Ontario, Canada.  Dr. Hervieux is a doctor in the Emergency Ward of the Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland, Ontario, Canada.

Dedicated to the loving memory of co-Founder and former President, Julianna Matyas, 1947-2017
