Santa visits the kids in the Village! The annual kids holiday party was held this past weekend, and everyone had a blast! Over 55 village kids attended and were able to personally meet Mr. Claus himself and receive a stuffed toy in advance of the big day. All the kids made wreaths and red balls with ribbons while enjoying Christmas treats. So many volunteers made this a wonderful day for everyone.
A big THANK YOU to Huronia Dental for their generous contribution to the annual For The Kids campaign! Their support greatly assists us in planning for the 2019 funding of the kids extra-curricular programs in 2019. Awesome!
CONGRATULATIONS to Shawn Robitaille, winner of the chocolate Truffle Tree draw, and Lisa Forget, recipient of the Holiday Dinner gift basket! THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the draw by purchasing tickets, and a very special thank you to Chris Cherry and his staff at Foodland in Penetanguishene who allowed us the space to fundraiser over the weekend. It is through community efforts like this that we can help the kids in the Villager programs look forward to a great 2019.

Thank you to Ian Sutherland of Penetanguishene who brought in three boxes of toys for the kids of We Are The Villagers! This will bring a lot of smiles and happy times for the kids in the Village this holiday season. Everyone is so grateful for the community support. For others interested in gifting for our kids, we have: 72 kids aged 3-5 years; 142 kids aged 6-8 years; 292 kids aged 9-12; and 232 aged 13-16 years (all evenly mixed by gender and interests). All kids deserve to enjoy the season of Christmas, so any help is much appreciated!
